US Endoscopy announces full market release of the InStream™ polyp trap

Mentor, Ohio - May 15, 2012 - US Endoscopy, a world leader in endoscopy device design and manufacturing, is proud to announce the release of the InStream™ polyp trap.  The InStream™ polyp trap minimizes exposure to biomaterial when retrieving tissue specimen and is an economical alternative to other polyp or mucous traps.

The InStream™ polyp trap features a specimen screen allowing for easy isolation and removal of the polyp.

"Sifting through biomaterial to locate and retrieve a tissue specimen is a frustrating process for clinicians," says Gulam Khan, US Endoscopy CEO, President, and Co-chairman. "The InStream™ polyp trap eliminates this step in an easy and cost effective way."
